About the Role
This is a premium service role at the heart of our patient journey.
As a Priority Dates Waitlist Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing a cohort of patients who have already committed to undergoing refractive surgery and are awaiting scheduling. Your mission is to ensure every patient is matched to their ideal surgery date, balancing their availability with clinical capacity and surgeon schedules.
This role requires exceptional organisation, a warm and professional communication style, and the ability to build rapport and maintain patient confidence throughout the final stages of their journey to surgery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proactively manage a live waitlist of patients awaiting confirmed surgery dates
2. Liaise with clinics, surgery centres and surgeon diaries to identify suitable availability
3. Match patient preferences to appointment slots with precision and efficiency
4. Maintain regular contact with patients via phone and email to provide updates, reassurance and support
5. Accurately maintain tracking spreadsheets and departmental databases
6. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams to ensure seamless scheduling
