Overview: Our client, a reputable investment management firm, is seeking a skilled Head of Operations Oversight to join their team on a 9-12 month fixed-term basis. The position can be based in London or Edinburgh.
Essential Skills/Experience:
* Knowledge of middle office, back office, and transfer agency activities in Asset Management.
* Understanding of regulatory requirements related to outsourcing services.
* Familiarity with the regulatory environment concerning asset management and related middle/back-office activities.
* Technical knowledge of CASS rules and regulations.
* Strong people management skills.
Core Responsibilities:
* Oversee core outsourced activities and team responsibilities.
* Lead daily management and people management of the team.
* Ensure NAV oversight with daily process and control execution.
* Manage corporate actions, cash, and stock/cash reconciliation.
* Oversee retail & segregated mandate flow management and reporting.
* Ensure CASS oversight and control effectiveness.
* Handle regulatory returns related to team activities.
* Manage trade lifecycle across various asset classes.
* Coordinate change management with outsource providers.
* Oversee Transfer Agency operations.
