RWT Radiology is a progressive and dynamic service offering patients and staff a safe and effective care and work environment. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious senior nurse with excellent communication skills and a strong clinical background in Interventional Radiology or Theatres to lead our Radiology Nurses in tandem with the Superintendent Radiographer lead for the service.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing a large team and have good knowledge of governance, risk management, service-relevant key performance indicators and budget management experience. The successful candidate will be keen to implement change and embrace the fast paced nature of the service, demonstrating a high level of resilience and problem solving matched with excellent organisational skills.
Responsibilities
 * To be professionally accountable for and maintain the standards of professional practice as set by the appropriate regulatory body applicable to your profession or role.
 * Supervise clinical practice, clinical audit, research, and teaching, to set, monitor and improve standards of care in addition to efficient and effective use of resources.
 * Ensuring safe and effective clinical practice
 * Enhancing the patient’s experience
 * Managing and developing the performance of the team
 * Ensuring effective contribution to the delivery of the organisation’s objectives
 * Deputising for Matron/Superintendent Radiographer
