£20 - £30 Per hour
* Provide tailored support and guidance to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student
* Deliver engaging lessons and activities that accommodate different learning styles
* Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or other qualification
* Specialist knowledge and experience in supporting students with SEN
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with secondary school students with SEN
* Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
* Experience in using assistive technology to support learning
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, primarily within a secondary school setting in South East England. The tutor may need to travel between different locations within Berkshire, including Reading. The work may require flexibility to accommodate student schedules and additional meetings with parents and professionals involved in the student's education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
