Facilities Supervisor (Soft Services)
Role Purpose
To supervise and coordinate soft facilities services across a mixed clinical and commercial estate, ensuring safe, compliant, and high quality environments. The role has a strong focus on staff supervision, cleaning contractor management, and effective day to day service delivery within operational healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support facilities staff, ensuring services are delivered safely and to agreed standards.
* Manage attendance, performance, and training in line with company policies.
* Oversee cleaning contractors, monitoring performance against specifications.
* Carry out regular audits, inspections, and quality checks, escalating issues and supporting corrective actions.
* Ensure facilities services operate safely within clinical environments, recognising heightened risk, cleanliness, and compliance requirements.
* Maintain service standards across commercial buildings, including presentation and customer experience.
* Act as a point of contact for service users, clinical teams, and building occupants, responding to issues promptly and professionally.
* Demonstrate a working understanding of facilities budgets, cost control, and value for money.
* Support soft services compliance.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience supervising soft facilities services in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
* Proven people management and contractor management experience.
* Understanding of cleaning standards and infection prevention within clinical settings.
* Basic understanding of budgets and financial processes.
* Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
