Armadale Academy is a six-year comprehensive school serving over 1000 students in the Armadale/Blackridge and Bathgate area. We offer a full range of National Qualifications found in a modern Scottish secondary school. The school has approximately 80 teaching staff, with departments organised under the direction of a Principal Teacher Curriculum responsible for each Curricular Area.

Applicants must possess a relevant teaching qualification and be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland.
This position involves Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment begins, with costs covered by the candidate. The fee for Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59, or existing members pay £18.
