Lineage Logistics is the world’s largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics.
At our Peterborough facility, we store food for major companies in the area.
To support increasing customer demand, we are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise the warehouse & stock team, ensuring standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met in collaboration with leadership.
Shift Pattern: Wednesday – Saturday 18:00-04:30 (40h/week) with a 30-minute unpaid break.
Rate: £14.47/hour paid weekly plus a £34.40/week shift allowance.
The role:
* Supervise, train, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.
* Manage operational procedures including shipments, stock organization, and inventory.
* Plan daily schedules and resource allocation, maintaining records.
* Conduct morning team briefs on work allocation, schedules, H&S, and daily topics.
* Perform daily checks of WMS for discrepancies or missing stock.
* Ensure housekeeping and checklists are updated daily.
* Maintain effective communication between office and warehouse staff.
* Investigate accidents following company procedures.
* Assist in resolving employee concerns and maintain open communication channels.
* Conduct staff appraisals twice yearly.
* Work closely with the current Team Leader in all warehouse and office functions.
* This is a hands-on role involved in daily warehouse operations.
Who we're looking for:
* Experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Clear communication skills in English.
