Our client, based in Stoke-on-Trent, has a new role available for a Production Planner to join their existing team. This role will involve working with a great team of people and will be a busy one, as it deals with various departments and also liaises with customers. So, if you have a great skill for multitasking, such as spinning multiple plates, dealing with numerous people, and managing your time effectively, this role would be a good fit for you.
Job Description for the Production Planner Role
1. To plan and update the system for production schedules and liaise with the different departments
2. Supporting the production team as and when required
3. Chasing different departments to help process the order through the system
4. Entering details into SAP
5. To prioritise workloads for the customer’s needs
6. Attending meetings to update production on the workloads and possible issues
7. To update production schedules
8. To provide excellent customer service to customers and also internal teams, as well as despatch companies
For the Production PLanner role, it would be good to see candidates with the following skills and experience:
9. Production planning/scheduling experience is required
10. Experience of using an ERP system – SAP ideally
11. Strong communication skills
12. Team player
13. Someone who can work using their initiative
14. Works within a multi-disciplined role
15. Strong IT skills
16. GCSEs at C or above in Maths and English
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
Salary: £30,000 Per Annum
