We’re working on behalf of a leading global logistics provider to recruit an experienced Customer Service & Office Manager for their multi-user contract logistics site in Stanford-le-Hope. This is a key leadership role that blends operational office management with hands-on customer service delivery across multiple client accounts.
You’ll lead a small team while overseeing day-to-day office functions, financial admin, procurement, and customer engagement. If you enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same, this could be an excellent fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Management:

2. Lead and support the Customer Service and Admin team (currently 2 x CS, 1 x Admin)
3. Maintain service excellence by implementing and monitoring client-facing procedures
4. Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently
Office & Administration Management:
5. Manage the smooth running of the office: ordering supplies, maintaining equipment (e.g. printers, coffee machines), and working with contractors
6. Oversee basic finance tasks: petty cash, invoicing, budget tracking, and liaison with finance teams
7. Maintain clear records of office activities and compliance documentation (QEHS)
8. Support audits and ensure all policies and practices meet safety and quality standards
9. Coordinate holiday planning and ensure appropriate cover during staff absences
10. Manage stock levels and oversee procurement for office and canteen supplies
What We’re Looking For:
11. Proven team leadership experience in a customer service or office management role, within contract logistics
12. Confident managing both customer relationships and internal office operations
13. Financial admin experience (invoicing, petty cash, supplier management)
14. Excellent organisational and communication skills
15. Comfortable working in a compliance-focused environment (QEHS awareness is a plus)
16. IT proficiency, including MS Office and digital filing systems
17. Ability to prioritise, multitask, and proactively manage a busy workload
What’s on Offer:
18. Competitive salary of up to £48, per annum
19. A varied role with autonomy and clear impact
20. Opportunities to grow within a respected international logistics organisation
21. Supportive team culture and a stable, long-term position
