Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our growing team across the North West & Yorkshire. This is a field‑based role working across a variety of commercial sites.
Pay: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum.
Location: Candidate will ideally be based in or near West Yorkshire with travel required within Yorkshire and North‑West (vehicle provided).
Key Responsibilities
* Service and maintain CCTV, intruder alarms, access control systems and preferably fire alarms.
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
* Complete all service documentation and reports accurately.
* Ensure systems meet relevant British Standards.
* Provide excellent customer service on‑site.
* Support with occasional small installation works when required.
* Participate in a shared telephone support call‑out rota.
Systems Experience Required
* CCTV (IP & analogue – Hikvision, Dahua)
* Access Control (Paxton, Comelit PAC)
* Fire Alarms (BS5839 compliant)
* Intruder Alarms (Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy)
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of fire and security systems.
* Good understanding of industry standards.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
* Professional, reliable, and with good communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to pass security vetting.
