Overview
This is your opportunity to work as a Lead Technical Manager at a international manufacturing company. They are now looking for either an experienced and driven lead Technical Manager, or someone who desires to progress within a growing company who has customer facing experience. They want someone who can lead the technical and quality function at their main production facility.
The Lead Technical Manager is a key leadership role within the site leadership team—ideal for someone with strong retailer-facing experience, exceptional food safety knowledge, and a proactive, hands-on style.
Role
As the Lead Technical Manager, you will be responsible for all technical, quality, and food safety matters across the site, ensuring full compliance with customer standards, BRC, and regulatory requirements.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Leading the technical team including QA Supervisors, Technologists, and Compliance staff.
Acting as the main technical point of contact for customers and auditors (BRC, retailers).
Maintaining and improving the site’s Quality Management System (QMS).
