Summary / Objective
The Corporate Warehouse Forklift Operator is a key member of the Corporate Warehouse team responsible for utilizing a forklift for general warehouse operations; to include loading and unloading trucks, product movement and rotation.
Essential Functions

* Must be familiar with warehouse and production area in order to ensure best time management in completing duties.
* Pulling Line duties: When pulling from palletizer area, ensure each pallet in stock has a ticket attached, correct stock rotation, no more than three stacks of plastic pallets behind each palletizer, never let full product pallets back up and shut the palletizer down, never load empty pallets into the palletizer except line 4, and dispose of all partials at the end of each run.
* Line feeding duties: Ensure partial pallets of crowns and bottles are used first; ensure can line has trays and lids; keep plastic trays loaded at the denester; pull empty pallets from depalletizer; ensure lines never run out of bottles or cans; help keep hoppers empty when possible.
* Loading / Unloading duties: Load/unload materials as needed (including product to/from divisions/stores, raw materials and purchased product); stack individual cases for partial pallet load-out.
* All forklift operators are responsible for daily checklist of unit and battery changes; assist in keeping assigned area neat and in order.
* May be required to work varying shifts, weekends and/or overtime to meet customer demand.
* Responsible for continuous self-improvement through Buffalo Rock training (web-based, in-house, or other methods) and must complete assigned training curriculum (e.g., ej4 or facilitated training).
* Carry out other duties as assigned.
* FOOD SAFETY: Follow GMPs as listed in CFR 21, section 110, participate in Food Safety training, and report potential Food Safety issues.

Qualifications
* Education: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); Preferred
* Certifications and Licenses: Must be forklift certified.
* Other Requirements: Basic knowledge of equipment/tools needed to fulfill essential tasks.
