Housing Support Worker

Duration: 3 Months
Hours: 21 Hours (Rota)
Salary: £16.62 LTD / £14.26 PAYE (including holidays)
Job Description
Support vulnerable young people in a supported housing environment, promoting independence and ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
The Role
* Deliver person-centred support in line with support plans
* Maintain contact with young people to promote wellbeing and safety
* Conduct weekly health and safety inspections
* Record client and property information, incident reports
* Coordinate social activities and meetings
* Liaise with repair services and external agencies
* Follow safeguarding protocols and regulations
The Service
This non-regulated supported housing service offers short- to medium-term accommodation, supporting homeless or at-risk young people and families, with a focus on building independent living skills.
The Candidate
* Experience supporting vulnerable young people
* Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
* Confident communicator
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Ability to coordinate activities and engage young people
* Willing to work flexibly and travel occasionally
Contract Details
* 21 Hours per Week on a rota basis between 8AM and 9PM
* 3-Month contract, potential for permanent role
* £16.62 per hour LTD, £14.26 PAYE
