We are currently recruiting for Commis Chefs on a full or part time basis - 40 or 32 hours per week. The ideal candidate would be required to ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly by assisting in the food preparation and general up keep of the kitchen.
* Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen preparation areas.
* Assisting in food production.
* Assisting in producing menu ideas.
* Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
* Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling all with great care
* Making sure that all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges, cookers are in good working order.
* Reporting any fault equipment to the kitchen manager.
* Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised at all times
Skills and Experience required:
* Previous experience working as a Commis Chef
* Can accurately follow instructions
* Able to work unsupervised
