Responsibilities
1. Develop a full understanding of the relationship between the 4 divisions of the Tricel Group: Water, Construction, Environmental, and Distribution to maximise buying efficiency.
2. Review, evaluate, and monitor the existing supply chain, suppliers, parts, products, and services to ensure high performance and compliance to standards.
3. Establish and drive lean and continuous improvement projects with suppliers and service providers to reduce costs and stabilize the supply chain.
4. Reduce inventory levels, lead-times, review lot sizes, and delivery frequencies from Local, European, and Worldwide suppliers.
5. Regularly monitor and update data on Tricel’s ERP system to ensure accuracy.
6. Address quality issues and resolve problems with external and internal suppliers promptly.
7. Support the introduction of new products (NPI) by liaising with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to meet milestones.
8. Support warehouse activities focusing on space saving, smart deliveries, and safety.
9. Assist the Finance team with invoice payments and reporting.
10. Establish and maintain purchasing reports and KPIs.
11. Report performance results to Senior Management, ensuring KPI targets are met.
12. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior Management team.
Candidate Profile
* Knowledge of modern supply chain principles (Post graduation diploma or certification).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with suppliers and internal teams.
* Project management skills are advantageous.
* Good knowledge of specific raw materials, including volumes, destinations, and purposes.
* Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
* Positive 'can-do' attitude contributing to team spirit.
* Some knowledge of production processes such as batching and postponement.
* Ability to react quickly to changing circumstances.
* Experience with ERP systems.
* Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
