HR Business Partner – Employee Relations Focus- Hybrid- West Midlands
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong background in Employee Relations (ER) to join a growing People team. This is a hands-on, role that supports leaders and managers to drive a positive, high-performance culture while managing complex ER issues with confidence and professionalism.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to the business, partnering closely with managers to deliver pragmatic HR solutions, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance, capability, and absence management.
2. Coach and support line managers to develop confidence and capability in managing people effectively.
3. Partner with leaders to drive engagement, performance, and cultural initiatives across the business.
4. Support organisational change, restructures, and redundancy consultations with expert HR advice.
5. Collaborate with the wider People team to ensure policies and procedures remain compliant, fair, and aligned to best practice.
