The Role:
* Position: Economics Graduate Trainee Teacher
* Location: Redbridge
* Start Date: September 2025
* Salary: Paid training position (based on experience and funding eligibility)
* Training: Gain QTS while working in the classroom, supported by experienced mentors and partner training providers
What You'll Do:
* Support the delivery of engaging and relevant Economics lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
* Work alongside expert teachers and gradually take on teaching responsibilities
* Receive high-quality training and mentorship throughout your journey
* Build strong relationships with students and help them develop critical thinking and economic literacy
* Play an active role in the school's academic and extracurricular life
Ideal Candidate:
* A degree in Economics or closely related subject (minimum 2:1)
* An A-Level in Economics.
* A passion for education and a desire to make a difference
* Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire young people
* A commitment to learning and personal development
* Ideally some experience working with young people (, tutoring, mentoring, volunteering)
