Save Share Apply now Sutton County Council are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Adults Locality Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Adults Locality Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Adults Locality Social Worker responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
2. Providing advice to the public, partner agencies and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns
3. Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
4. Liaising with other professionals
5. Knowledge of relevant legislation
6. Holding cases
7. Working with people at risk, and people who have caused harm.
8. Attending multidisciplinary meetings
9. Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support
Experience preferred / Minimum Requirements:
10. Post qualifying experience of working as an Adults Locality Social Worker
11. HCPC Registration
12. 3 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
13. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
14. Eligibility to work in the UK
