Working closely with the CFO, you'll ensure financial integrity, lead system improvements, and support a talented finance team.
What You'll Do
Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust accounting practices.
Oversee the year-end audit, maintaining a strong relationship with auditors and ensuring smooth delivery.
Manage cash, banking and investments, optimising the charity's use of funds.
Support income and accounts payable processes, maintaining effective controls and identifying efficiencies.
Drive system transformation, leading the implementation of a new finance system (Exchequer to Business Central).
Ensure compliance, upholding financial regulations and internal control standards.
About You
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid post-qualification experience.
Proven success in managing finance teams and complex financial operations.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills.
Experience in the charity or retail sector is highly desirable.
Confident project leader, ideally with experience in finance system implementation.
Excellent communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
