ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Data Analyst will:
* Lead the design, development, and ownership of Power BI dashboards for key finance and performance KPIs.
* Build and maintain robust data models using DAX and Power Query, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
* Extract, transform, and analyse data from multiple finance and operational systems.
* Support monthly, ad hoc, and bi-annual reporting cycles, improving automation and efficiency.
* Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
* Act as the go-to Power BI specialist within the finance team, supporting best practice and capability building.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Strong commercial experience delivering reporting and dashboards in Power BI.
* Advanced capability in DAX and Power Query, with a solid approach to data modelling.
* Good working knowledge of SQL and relational data sources.
* Experience working with financial data, including core metrics from income statements and balance sheets.
* Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical and senior stakeholders.
* A proactive mindset with an interest in finance transformation and improving how data flows through systems.
