Passionate about recycling, community impact, and making waste work harder for a greener future? Join us as a Site Supervisor at our busy Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) in Oldham on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
In return we offer salary of £36, pro-rated) plus up to 10% Annual Bonus, Company Pension (5%), and holiday days.

About The Role
What will I be doing?
Reporting to the HWRC Manager, you'll lead and support the smooth, compliant running of the site:
Supervise daily operations, ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental regulations, permit conditions, and SUEZ policies.
Prioritise supervision across all site activities, stepping in to support staffing levels when needed to maintain performance.
Act as a positive role model, promoting a strong safety culture, maximising recycling, and improving operational efficiency.
Deliver weekly targets efficiently and within budget while managing relevant operational documents and records.
Collate performance data, handle complaints/incidents/accidents/training records, produce reports, and deputise for the HWRC Manager as required.
What are the requirements?

Demonstrable passion for recycling and strong communication skills to engage teams and visitors.
Proven experience supervising and developing teams to achieve high operational and recycling standards (multi-site experience advantageous).
Practical knowledge of HWRC operations and requirements to maximise recycling/diversion rates.
Appropriate waste management qualification (or willingness and ability to achieve within 12 months to meet permit/COTC requirements).
Full valid UK driving licence, solid understanding of safety/environmental policies, regulations, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
