Description
Receiving a weekly sales report, checking and creating subsequent invoices
Moving stock on accounting system to reflect physical movements
Creating Invoices for other multiple customers
Allocation of customer payments
Producing a weekly debtors report
Chasing any outstanding debt
Establishing root cause why customers are not paying (i.e. shortage on delivery, invoice not uploaded etc)
Working closely with sales agent/fellow team members to investigate non-payment by customers
Creating export invoices on an ad hoc basisProfile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial tasks.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders.Job Offer
