Manufacturing Digital Solutions Engineer
Join Laing O'Rourke as a Manufacturing Digital Solutions Engineer. Location: Worksop or Oldbury. We are looking for a Manufacturing Digital Solutions Engineer to join our Digital Manufacturing team, supporting our Explore Manufacturing and CHtM facilities.

What You'll Do
* Deliver small-scale digital transformation projects that improve efficiency and optimise production systems.
* Build insightful dashboards using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query to enable data-driven decisions.
* Champion digital tools and upskill our operational teams, helping embed a digitally-enabled culture.
* Collaborate with IT and external partners to deliver effective, scalable solutions.
* Actively participate in the Laing O'Rourke Data Guild and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Drive user engagement through training, user acceptance testing, and hands-on support.
What We're Looking For
* A proactive problem-solver with a good understanding of manufacturing or construction processes.
* Confident using Power BI and other digital tools to analyse, visualise, and communicate insights.
* Comfortable working with stakeholders across all levels, translating operational needs into digital solutions.
* A degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent practical experience.
* A positive, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
Bonus Points If You Have Experience With
* PowerApps, Power Automate, SAP S/4HANA, SQL, or digital engineering software like Tekla or Revit.
* Supporting digital change in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial setting.
