Care Workers role
We’re looking for caring and committed Care Workers to join our service at St Margaret’s House supporting older people.
Your role
* Provide practical and emotional support to residents
* Assist with personal care, meals and daily routines
* Encourage social interaction, independence and wellbeing
* Help create a safe, calm and respectful environment
* Work closely with colleagues as part of a supportive team
What you will bring
You’ll bring patience, reliability and a caring nature. You’ll be a practising Christian who feels comfortable working in a faith‑based setting, and you’ll value treating everyone with dignity and respect. Previous experience in care is helpful, but what matters most is your enthusiasm to learn and your willingness to work towards an SVQ Level 2 or 3.

Legal and Equality
As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. You will also need to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will be required to be registered with SSSC and you must meet the UK work entitlement.
