Working through Hays as a Teaching Assistant on a supply basis allows you to explore a variety of Primary Schools across South Warwickshire. You are able to work to suit your needs and work-life balance by working on a part-time or full-time basis and, dependent on your preference, you can work on day-to-day bookings or more long-term positions. You have the flexibility to help out in a variety of classes from Reception to KS2.
Your new role
Your duties as a Teaching Assistant will include:
1. Helping within the classroom. This will include during the core subjects of Maths and English, supporting the class teacher.
2. Assisting students who need extra support by running intervention groups and working with students on a basis
3. Ensuring the classroom is a warm and weing environment with exciting displays to assist with learning
4. Working with a range of children, including children with Special Educational Needs
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you must have recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant, which we are able to reference. Hays wees all candidates, whether you are qualified or unqualified! You must be organised and be able to work to your own initiative and have a calm and understanding approach to working with children.
