Your Role
As an Operations Lead, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of your production area, inspiring your team to excel, and drive the performance required to achieve the production plan. You will create a safe, engaged, and vibrant workplace, coordinating production activities, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will be an essential part of our Operations team, leading by example, sharing best practices, and ensuring targets are achieved.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the team, coordinating schedules and daily tasks addressing topics on a daily basis as needed
* Manage people topics in a way that maximises opportunity for employee engagement in line with cultural expectations as well as ensuring output targets are achieved included; Overtime & Holiday, Absences, Development reviews, Performance
* Promote and embed a good culture and share best practices with other Operations Leads in other areas
* Lead the Daily Meeting (QRQC) and associated Health & Safety processes. Take actions and support any necessary investigations (8D)
* Review and analyse systems data to support decision making line of balance (LOB)
* Proactively communicate key business news and ensure the team understand the goal
* Ensure compliance with business systems and data
* Manage tooling budget and calibration control
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment – Essential
* Qualification or relevant experience within a manufacturing discipline – Essential
* Effective team leadership or previous line management experience – Essential
* Confidence in decision making using module data and problem solving tools such as CI and 5S – Essential
* Understanding of Part 145 or 21G requirements – Desirable
