Working within a small team and reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop a career in First Aid and health and safety. The role is based at our Blossomfield Campus with regular visits to our Stratford-up-Avon and Woodlands Campuses. Assisting with the management of First Aid and health and safety provisions, your responsibilities will include providing first aid assistance to students and staff during medical emergencies, maintaining First Aid records, coordinating the First Aid rota, and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies. You will also respond to health and safety queries, support staff training, and assist in managing special equipment, such as defibrillators and bleed kits. The successful candidate will possess a good standard of education, including GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent, and will need to be highly organised and accurate. You should have a valid First Aid at Work certificate or be prepared to undertake necessary training. Previous experience in First Aid or health and safety-related roles is essential, and supervisory experience is advantageous. Strong IT skills (particularly Excel), excellent communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate customer service and data confidentiality are key. You will need to interact professionally with students, staff, and emergency services, work both independently and as part of a team, and remain calm in challenging situations. Ability to perform CPR and other tasks, including campus patrols, as required.
