The Role: We are seeking a specialist TA to work alongside a child who will need 1:1 support with learning, attainment and participation in class. You will work alongside experienced teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a safe, stimulating, and highly personalised learning environment. Part of the role will include adapting lesson content to suit the child, working with the Teacher to achieve objectives, feedback to the SENCO on the pupil's development and liaise with parents. A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Health & Social Care, or equivalent). A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to working with children who have significant additional needs. An understanding of communication and sensory support strategies. A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
