Youll be joining a consultancy known for its strong reputation across sectors such as residential, commercial, heritage, retail, and major mixed:use schemes. Their work spans the full development lifecycle, and they are particularly recognised for delivering high:quality, commercially sound planning advice to a diverse range of private:sector clients.
The Role
As Senior Town Planner, you will:

Lead and manage your own portfolio of planning applications, appeals, and pre:application proposals.
*
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear, informed planning advice.
*
Prepare planning statements, policy reviews, and supporting documents with a high degree of independence.
*
Influence project strategy from concept through to submission.
*
Work collaboratively with a close:knit team of planners and associate consultants while retaining plenty of autonomy.
*
Represent clients at committee meetings, public consultations, and stakeholder discussions.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:

MRTPI accreditation (or be very close to achieving it).
*
Strong consultancy experience, ideally within the private sector.
*
A confident approach to client communication and project coordination.
*
Excellent report:writing skills and a sharp eye for detail.
*
A proactive mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for shaping development outcomes.
