Job Title: Senior Project Engineer x7
Location: Motherwell, Scotland
Contract Type: PAYE Contract
Pay Rate: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential extension up to 23 months)

* Ability to pass security checks
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading defence project in Motherwell. You’ll be involved in delivering high-quality software products, working within a multi-disciplined team and adhering to recognised industry standards.
Responsibilities:
* Produce innovative, high-quality software for defence developments.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team throughout the software development life cycle.
* Mentor junior team members and take responsibility for both your own and others' work.
* Lead assurance and review activities, ensuring compliance with configuration, release, and documentation standards.
* Translate requirements into software designs, implement solutions, and manage integration, configuration, release, and deployment.
Essential Experience:
* Background in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or related field.
* Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
