Food Safety Graduate - Dungannon - £27-28K We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Food Safety Graduate to join our Technical team. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a career in food safety, quality assurance, and technical account management. You will play a key role in supporting the technical team with supplier approval processes, customer-facing technical requirements, and ongoing food safety compliance. The Role: Technical Account Management Act as a point of contact for customers on technical queries and documentation. Assist in managing technical aspects of customer accounts including specifications, audit responses, and product integrity. Support the preparation of customer presentations, product submissions, and compliance documentation. Track and respond to customer requests relating to food safety, allergens, nutrition, and traceability. Supplier Approval & Management Support the supplier approval process including reviewing supplier documentation (e.g. HACCP plans, certifications, audit reports). Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL) in line with internal standards and customer requirements. Conduct risk assessments on new and existing suppliers and ingredients. Liaise with suppliers to obtain and verify technical documentation. Food Safety & Compliance Ensure that all raw materials and finished products meet food safety, legal, and quality requirements. Support internal and external audits including BRC, customer, and regulatory inspections. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and supplier management. Documentation & Systems Maintain up-to-date records on product specifications, supplier certifications, and customer portals. Assist with data entry, document control, and technical system updates. Education & Qualifications Degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, or a related discipline. Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of food safety principles, HACCP, and supplier approval practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with technical databases or ERP systems is a plus. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical data and documentation. Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced technical environment. Experience Prior experience in a technical or quality role within the food industry (e.g. through placements or internships) is advantageous but not essential. Why Join Us?
