About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator at HC-One, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will plan and implement activities that delight residents across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will support the Home Manager with fundraising events and help residents build confidence to socialise more effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and implement a range of activities for residents.
* Support the Home Manager in organising fundraising events.
* Develop activity ideas based on residents’ hobbies and interests.
* Collaborate with the care home team to engage residents.
* Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and take appropriate action.
Qualifications and Skills
* Background working with vulnerable individuals, preferably developing activity programmes.
* Strong planning, organisational and IT skills with time‑management ability.
* Excellent communication skills and consideration when interacting with residents and co‑workers.
* Capability to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns and undertake relevant training.
