Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our established team in our busy free house pub and hotel in Beaumaris. You must be personable, punctual and a team player.
Shift patterns will vary and so availability for day and evening shifts, both during the week and at weekends is essential. Due to the nature of the irregular working hours, it is preferable that you have your own transportation or are able to arrange transportation to and from work.
Your role will involve serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall guest experience. Previous experience in a hospitality setting would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
Duties
* Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations while handling and serving drinks.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
* Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
* Handle cash transactions efficiently, utilising basic math skills for accurate billing.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
* Assist in restocking supplies as needed and report any inventory shortages to management.
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
Skills
* Good hospitality background with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to serve drinks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
* Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills to be able to form good relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
