The school provides care for EYFS up until Sixth Form meaning that as a SEND Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing the support and care necessary to foster the student's overall development. Job Description: Assessing the needs of students and using your knowledge and specialist skills to support students with special educational needs and disabilities. Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students both physically and mentally Monitor progress daily, identify areas for improvement. Building trusting relationships with students and prioritising their social and emotional wellbeing. Plan and teach lessons with small groups of students, groups, or individuals (if necessary) The ideal candidate: Strong at managing behaviour Previous experience working with children, young people or adults with SEND Genuine passion for working with children. Ability to create a nurturing environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and parents. Patience, empathy, and understanding to support students who are struggling. Qualifications: Candidates who have prior experience working with individuals who have complex needs will be highly regarded.
