 
        
        Senior Support Worker
We are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at Meadow Mews. You’ll be working 42 hours a week, with a mixture of days, nights and alternative weekends, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care.
About the Service
Meadow Mews is an enhanced community residential service for men with neuropsychiatric or neurodegenerative conditions, who may have behaviours that challenge alongside additional social and complex needs. It serves as a transitional service from inpatient rehabilitation for those who have progressed through the hospital pathway but now require community‑based support to participate in social and domestic activities vital for their quality of life.
Resident Profile
 * Acquired Brain Injury (trauma, anoxia, stroke, tumour, virus or infection)
 * Neurodegenerative conditions (including Huntington’s Disease)
 * Specialist Dementia (Pick’s Disease, Frontotemporal Dementia)
 * Korsakoff’s Syndrome or other substance abuse related brain injury

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities
 * Support management and team members in the day‑to‑day running of the service
 * Allocate duties effectively and safely
 * Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all residents
 * Offer guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
 * Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide appropriate assistance
 * Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
 * Safeguard residents
 * Maintain a safe & clean environment
