Temporary Accommodation Officer (closing date: 07/01/26)
£28,142 - £31,022 per year. This is a Permanent position. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Temporary Accommodation Officer to join our Housing Options team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of homeless households by helping to co-ordinate the use of temporary accommodation.
The post holder will arrange suitable temporary accommodation taking into consideration size and needs of each household.
They will be responsible for Housing Benefit claims for each placement and liaising with the Finance Team for all grant applications. Liaison with all providers of temporary accommodation to ensure appropriate provision and support is in place.
You will need to be organised, empathetic and adaptable to change within a busy working environment. You will also be experienced in partnership working.
