Job Description
We are seeking a legal professional for an established UK-based Fintech who, with a growing customer base of over 1 million users, is achieving its aim of making financial management accessible to anyone.
Since inception, this business has developed a number of innovative products and can function as an all-in-one platform for savings, investments and pensions.
In line with consistent and continuing growth, the legal team is now looking to hire a legal professional for a Contracts Manager role, who will be based in their Central London Headquarters.
More specifically, the successful candidate will:
* Act as ‘first review’ for a range of commercial contracts, identifying matters requiring escalation for the legal team;
* Manage the contract lifecycle, including contract administration, tracking and renewal;
* Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts e.g. IT (including SaaS) agreements; supplier agreements and NDAs;
* Be intrinsic to the development and implementation of new tech, including AI, to aid the efficiency of the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
* Work with both the Procurement Manager and wider legal team on firm-wide projects and initiatives (encompassing the delivery of training sessions, for example) in order to effectively shape the business’ response to contract-related matters.
We are looking for tech-enthusiasts who have a genuine desire to develop their career in a thriving fintech and can articulate this in an interview scenario. You must be highly organised, with the ability to work to tight deadlines across multiple departments and workstreams.
