Your new role As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll take a lead role in the design, delivery and coordination of electrical building services across a range of complex projects. Working within collaborative, nonperforming engineering teams, you'll be responsible for: Leading electrical design from concept through to completion Producing calculations, specifications, reports and drawings Overseeing project delivery, resource planning and quality control Coordinating with mechanical, sustainability and architectural teams Attending site visits, client meetings and design workshops Supporting and mentoring junior engineers Ensuring compliance with standards, regulations and best practice Projects vary by consultancy but typically include large-scale commercial office refurbishments, education campuses, datacentres, high-end residential schemes, healthcare upgrades and complex CAT A/CAT B fit-outs. What you'll need to succeed Strong experience in electrical building services design within a UK consultancy Good understanding of BS standards, CIBSE guidance and UK regulations Proficiency with industry software (Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit advantageous) Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage projects independently and deliver to deadlines Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartership (CEng/IEng) What you'll get in return Salary up to £70,000, depending on experience Hybrid working options (typically 2-3 days from home) Clear progression pathways including Chartered support The chance to work on diverse, high-value projects across multiple sectors Collaborative, growing teams with excellent technical exposure What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
