About Ty Arfryn
Ty Arfryn is a 7 bed service in the heart of Carmarthen that provides specialist support for individuals with functional mental health needs and/or learning disabilities; this includes individuals with a forensic background, alcohol and substance misuse. The home is within walking distance of the town centre and public transport stops right outside the home. Nearby places of interest include the Excel Bowling Alley, Leisure Centre and extensive woodland walks of natural beauty.
ROLE: Senior Support Worker
LOCATION: Ty Arfryn, Johnstown (SA31)
SALARY: £14.40 - £15.00 per hour
HOURS: 35 hours per week
Responsibilities
* Managing a team of Support Workers
* Providing high standards of care for the people we support, in line with care and support plans
* Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
* Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
* Liaise with health professionals and their families
* Complete supervisions and audits
* To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
