Our client has recently under gone a company restructure and are seeking new talented individuals. They are seeking ADMINSTRATOR (PLANNING) to join them on a permanent basis. The role will suit candidates with numeracy or IT biased degrees, looking to join a progressive and growing business where opportunities to develop will be available to those who show the necessary capabilities and aptitude. You may be offered a 12-week temp to perm contract to start, via us City Centre Recruitment. You will be responsible to schedule the manufacturing of products through the business in the most efficient way possible ensuring that agreed stock level and customer service is maintained at all times.
1. Produce as a minimum a weekly production schedule for the site enabling packing lines to run at their most efficient, minimizing product changes, size changes and clean downs. For lines where product is built to stock schedule over a greater period to ensure optimisation of all production lines
2. Raise production orders and amend components where temporary changes are required.
3. Reschedule production as required by changes to the weekly plan.
4. Ownership of weekly planning meeting and daily update meetings.
5. Maintain all documents, systems ensuring that master data is maintained to reflect the production and planning parameters.
6. Communicate in a timely and complete fashion with various departments – Sales, Warehouse, QA & Production to ensure a cohesive & efficient plan and process is followed and necessary changes implemented in a timely fashion.
7. Review of sales forecast and flag any issues to the commercial team for resolution.
8. Complete the weekly activities as detailed on the planners activity sheet.
9. To carry out any other work or task determined to be within your level of competence, to meet the needs of the business.
10. Working within all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Food Safety, Authenticity, Legality and Quality Standards.

11. Numerate and literate, with outstanding attention to detail.
12. Excellent communication skills.
13. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
14. Self-starter – an ability to work under your own steam.
15. Approachable, friendly with a can-do attitude
16. Experience working in a FMCG business (Desirable not essential)
17. Experience working in a food business. (Desirable not essential)
18. Previous experience in a planning role (Desirable not essential)
