Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Nurse to join our Team in the Head and Neck Outpatients department at Queens Hospital Burton to cover Maternity leave. We are looking for a flexible and motivated Dental Nurse to join our busy Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Team. This will be based at the Queens Hospital Burton, but due to varying clinical activity this may be cross site. This post is available to Dental Nurses who are registered with the General Dental Council. Orthodontic experience is highly desirable but not essential as training will be given. This post will allow you to gain experience which will help with any future permanent positions that become available.
Qualifications
* Registered with the General Dental Council.
* Orthodontic experience is highly desirable but not essential.
* Ability to deliver a high quality of care.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to prioritise workload and liaise confidentially with staff from all disciplines.
Responsibilities
* Work with the multi-disciplinary team and work alongside orthodontic Consultants, Registrars and Orthodontic therapists during consultations and treatments.
* Assist in minor operations and clinic sessions including Maxillofacial, Oncology, Restorative, Cleft lip and palate, orthognathic and ENT clinics.
