About the Role
As a Teacher of Religious Studies, you will play a key role in inspiring students to explore and engage with various religious, ethical, and philosophical ideas. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Religious Studies across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Ensure high standards of teaching and learning, promoting student achievement and progress.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate student progress to ensure consistent attainment and improvement.
- Create a classroom environment that encourages a love of learning and respect for all faiths and beliefs.
- Contribute to the development and enrichment of the Religious Studies curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to support students' academic and personal development.
- Act as a positive role model, promoting high expectations for student behaviour and well-being.
About You:
- You will be a qualified teacher with a degree in Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related subject.
- You will have experience in teaching Religious Studies at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a track record of raising student achievement.
- A passionate educator who is dedicated to inspiring students to think critically and embrace diversity.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
