This role is hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per month in their Swindon office.
Your new role
This is an opportunity to join as a Full Stack Java Developer working across their public facing website, internal APIs and supporting digital services. You'll contribute to the design, architecture and implementation of new features, ensuring high-quality solutions that place accessibility and user experience at the centre.
You'll collaborate with Product, UX/UI Design, WebOps and engineering peers to improve their digital estate, maintain cloud environments and support production systems. Continuous improvement sits at the core of the team, so you'll be encouraged to bring new ideas, explore emerging technologies and refine engineering practices.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for an experienced Senior or Lead Full Stack Software Engineer with experience building Java/Spring microservices, working with React/TypeScript for building SPA's and working with various API's to develop applications.
The wider stack includes AWS loud infrastructure and associated services, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps, Kubernetes), OAuth, Docker, Kubernetes and modern DB technologies (Elasticsearch, Mongo, Postgres).
A background in Agile delivery within cross-functional Scrum teams is important. If you enjoy working at pace, delivering meaningful products at scale and embracing modern engineering practices, this role will suit you well.
