Residential Care Shift Leader - Nights
£15.43 per hour | 36 hours per week
3 x shifts per week | 7pm to 7am | weekends on rota
We are recruiting on behalf of Harrogate Neighbours, a not-for-profit organisation with a proud reputation for providing high-quality care and support to people across the local community.
They are now looking for a dedicated Shift Leader to join their Health Lodge team, working nights.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you'll support and supervise the care team to deliver safe, person-centred care for residents.
The Shift Leader role
* Lead and support the night care team to ensure residents' safety and wellbeing.
* Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and accurate record-keeping.
* Administer and monitor medication in line with policies.
* Provide hands-on personal care and respond to emergencies when required.
* Liaise with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
* Delegate tasks fairly and support audits to maintain excellent standards of care.
The Ideal Candidate
1. Experience of working in elderly care within a residential care setting.
2. Confident in supervising and supporting staff.
3. Strong organisational and communication skills.
