Join QA Higher Education as a Learning Support Advisor
London, Hybrid – 3 Days Per Week On Site
Are you passionate about inclusive education and supporting students with additional learning needs? QA Higher Education is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Advisor to join our Welfare team and help shape a supportive, accessible learning environment for all.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Learning Support Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering disability-related support and promoting inclusive practices across our university partnerships. You’ll:
* Meet with students to discuss reasonable adjustments and coordinate follow-up actions.
* Support students in using assistive technology and help develop our Assistive Technology suite.
* Assist with Disabled Students Allowance applications.
* Collaborate with faculties to promote inclusive learning and teaching.
* Contribute to new initiatives that enhance support for students with additional learning needs.
* Provide monthly reports on disability provision and budget usage.
* Respond to stakeholder enquiries within 48 hours.
* Work closely with teams across Registry, Student Services, Academics, Admissions, and more.
About You
* An excellent communicator and networker.
* Self-motivated, organised, and detail oriented.
* A problem-solver who thrives on initiative.
* Proven experience supporting disabled students or those with complex needs.
* Familiarity with the Equality Act 2010 and SEND Code of Practice.
* Knowledge of assistive technologies (e.g., mind mapping software) is a plus.
* Experience in Higher Education and inclusive policy development is desirable.
* Level 7 qualification in Learning Difficulties and Disabilities or equivalent.
