Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same; you will be supporting someone to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be.
Each person we support has different requirements, so your role may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support while expanding their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and we work collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support two individuals: Logan and Samuel.
* Logan
o Lives in own 2‑floor home in Greenock; works one day a week for 24 hours, 8 am‑8 pm.
o Needs support to get ready for the day, administer medication, prepare meals.
o Mornings: listens to radio; afternoons: driven to train station to watch activities; evenings: relax with iPad.
o Enjoys bowling, goes 1 day per week.
* Samuel
o Young man who loves watching WWE, going to the cinema, or eating out.
o Looking for support to do the things he loves.
