CHARM Therapeutics is pioneering a new generation of menin inhibitors, designed to overcome the limitations of first-generation therapies and transform outcomes for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The UK/US team is focused on executing initial clinical trials at sites in Europe and the US through 2026 and 2027.
Job Summary
Own day-to-day office operations to enable a small, hybrid team (c.19 UK staff) to work effectively, whilst providing Executive support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Office operations
* Primary contact for the office; ensure a smooth, safe, well-run office (cleaning, supplies, visitors, post, deliveries).
* Administer campus systems: Officely (fire register/“who’s in today”) and Campus Connected (visitor bookings).
* Manage Babraham Research Campus (BRC) relationships and helpdesk tickets;
* oversee planned maintenance calendar (e.g. Evolution/Reach). Occasional out of hours work maybe required for planned maintenance activities
* Vendor oversight (cleaning, plants, water/coffee) and small works; monitor spend vs budget.
* Space & utilisation: track desk/room usage; propose and organise light reconfigurations suitable for low occupancy.
* Maintain site collateral: access passes, visitor logs, meeting rooms, keys/card control.
Health & Safety (office environment)
* Coordinate office H&S activity and training with our external competent person.
* Act as first aid Appointed Person; maintain kits and incident logging; coordinate fire wardens and drills.
* Routine checks (weekly walk-throughs) and prompt escalation of hazards/repairs to BRC.
* Keep simple business‑continuity info for B900 (key contacts, outage procedures, muster point).
Company administration
* Schedule and administer Board/Committee meetings.
* Support joiners/leavers for office elements (in coordination with IT/HR).
* Support other operations teams as needed (HR, IT, Finance).
* Oversee and liaise with our travel company; provide light diary/admin support to executives as required.
* Support the Executive team in the administration & diary management of adhoc strategic projects (e.g. conferences, due diligence).
Community, sustainability & cost
* Arrange day-to-day office extras and key socials (lunches, Christmas and summer events) and gather supplier feedback as needed.
* Monitor waste/recycling and consumables.

About you
Qualifications, core capabilities and experience:
* Proven experience running a small office and supporting senior stakeholders (UK/US) with high autonomy.
* Methodical, high attention to detail; confident with vendors, budgets and simple data tracking.
* Calm, service-oriented communicator; comfortable in a lean biotech setting.
* Able to work on-site in Cambridge (Babraham Research Campus) reliably Mon–Wed; flexible for occasional events.
* Collaborative, with the ability to problem solve with others both inside and outside of your discipline.
* Curious, open to learning new concepts and different perspectives
* IOSH, Emergency First Aid at Work, fire marshal trained (desirable)
