Senior Composite Laminator

We’re supporting a high-performance engineering subcontract business operating across motorsport, aerospace, and defence, and they are looking to bring in a Senior Composite Laminator to strengthen their shop-floor capability.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-led environment, working on complex composite structures with demanding quality standards.
The Role
* Manufacture high-quality composite components using pre-preg carbon fibre
* Work across a variety of projects, from low-volume prototype motorsport parts to regulated aerospace and defence components
* Interpret engineering drawings and lay-up schedules accurately
* Carry out tool preparation, lay-up, bagging, and curing
* Support with trim, finishing, and assembly where required
* Maintain strict adherence to quality and process standards
* Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement on the shop floor
What They’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Composite Laminator within motorsport, aerospace, or defence
* Strong understanding of pre-preg processes and composite materials
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and ply books
* High attention to detail and pride in delivering right-first-time quality
* Comfortable working in a high-pressure, delivery-focused environment
* Senior-level individuals should be capable of working independently and supporting junior team members
