Job Description
As our Publishing Sales Manager, you’ll report directly to the GM of Mantis where you will identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with digital publishers, focusing on programmatic advertising solutions. You will build and maintain strong, long-lasting publisher relationships, and understand the specific needs of publishers and recommend tailored Mantis solutions that align with their goals, emphasising brand safety and contextual targeting. You’ll use your expertise to stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and product development, and will collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a cohesive and effective sales strategy. In addition, you will uphold Reach's policy around diversity and inclusion and work to ensure our values around non discrimination are upheld in everything we publish.
Qualifications
Overall, we’re seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a minimum of 2 years experience in a publisher-facing role, and at least 5 years of experience in digital advertising and sales. Mantis is in an exciting stage of growth, so it’s key that as our new Publisher Sales Manager, you will be as passionate as we are and eager to make a lasting impact within our organisation. It is essential that you’ll have a strong ability to identify, pursue, and close deals, utilising your exceptional strategic negotiation skills, and be proficient in building and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders. We are also seeking the following
key attributes:
* Expertise in programmatic platforms, real-time bidding, and ad exchanges.
* Knowledge of implementing brand safety measures and contextual targeting strategies.
* SaaS experience is ideal but not essential.
* Strong analytical ability is a must, the ideal candidate will be able to analyse performance data and make data-driven decisions to optimise content and ad placements.
