CIS Security is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Security Patrol Officer to join our team. This role offers the chance to act as a key ambassador for CIS, delivering exceptional service and representing our values on site. You'll be part of the physical security team at a prestigious location in the heart of Victoria, featuring three distinct buildings connected by a beautifully landscaped public realm with stunning views. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and protection of staff, premises, and assets, while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment at all times. The successful candidate will be required to carry out regular patrols throughout their shift, including in all weather conditions, so resilience and reliability are essential. Information: Position: Security Patrol Officer Location: London (SW1W) Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour Hours: Average 56 hours per week Shifts: 6 On 3 Off - Days & Nights Job Role: SIA Licence required Security Experience / Customer Service is required - ideally in a estate or public space area Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk for extended periods when asked in all weathers Excellent levels of customer service & communication at all times Must have good command of English Language and IT skills Reliable, confident and committed Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site. The ability to work independently and as part of a team Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations This position involves external patrolling throughout the shift so you must be able to stand/walk for extended periods Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested First Aid qualification& CCTV Licence is a bonus Job Responsibilities: Able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and have a proactive and ever evolving approach towards their duties. To prevent unauthorised access while remaining professional at all times. To assist and respond to all fire alarm activations in a calm and professional demeanour. To be vigilant and observant of visitors and occupiers ensuring no baggage is left unattended and applicable signage is placed correctly, I.E wet floor signs. To book visitors in whilst announcing the visitor to the appropriate person(s) To conduct regular internal and external Building and Estate patrols and as per the site's assignment instructions. Report any patrol observations and or defects to the Security Manager as well as documenting it appropriately. To prevent unauthorised personnel from entering the premises. To assist members of the public and or visitors who may need our help with local information. To conduct a thorough check of all identified vulnerable points as well as ensuring all exits are secure and no risks are present or obstruct. To check for suspicious characters and report all suspicious behaviours back to the team as well as the Security Manager To prevent and detect fire, water leaks, and any potential safety hazards. To act as an ambassador ensuring that their business is represented accordingly.
